Gôl Centres has developed a reputation for quality coaching for young footballers (boys and girls) aged 4-11 on our state-of-the-art artificial pitches. We're particularly proud that over 10 children who received their introduction to football at Gôl are now part of the Cardiff City Academy structure.
The immaculate, next-gen pitches are ideal for optimum football practice where children will receive professional coaching from our FAW-qualified staff. Gôl coaches help children to improve their understanding of the role of sport in personal development, whilst simultaneously increasing players’ core skills & abilities.
Our pitches are genuinely all-weather and are of the type adopted by Real Madrid, so whatever the weather - there’s no reason to spend Friday afternoon worrying about whether the session will be on - our pitches are always playable.
The state-of-the-art technology ensures that the ball doesn’t bounce too high or run too quickly, allowing the coach & your child to concentrate on effectively developing technical ability. As parents of young children ourselves, we demand a safer environment for our children. Our pitches' playing surface almost eliminates the friction burns commonly associated with sand-filled artificial pitches. The pitches are also enclosed, resulting in a safer environment for your child. Our Soccer Schools are run by FAW qualified coaches who will focus on developing a programme aimed at bringing out and developing your child’s ability. The course will feature the following elements:
We're delighted when children leave our Soccer Schools! This is usually an indication of their success and we have a vast number of children who started with us now playing competitve Saturday morning football. We've had over 10 children move on to the Cardiff City academy structure and over 50 currently play with the Urdd's teams and roughly 30 with Canton Rangers. Others have found it convenient to join other clubs in the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan area. It's extremely gratifying when these children take the opportunity to come back for additional coaching when their Saturday morning matches are postponed.
