Block Booking Terms and Conditions / Telerau ac Amodau Llogi Blociau
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all customers (“the Customer”) who enter into a block booking agreement with Gôl Centres Ltd (“the Company”) for the use of our facilities via the Spawtz online booking system.
1. Agreement
By confirming a block booking through the Spawtz system, the Customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions for a 10-week block booking of a 5-a-side football pitch at Gôl.
2. Legally Binding Agreement
This block booking constitutes a legally binding agreement between the Customer and the Company. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions online is enforceable under the Electronic Communications Act 2000 and applicable UK legislation.
3. Booking and Payment
- 3.1. Duration: Each block booking covers 10 consecutive weeks from the agreed start date.
- 3.2. Payment Obligation: The Customer agrees to pay the weekly fee (as applicable to their booking slot) in full for all 10 weeks, regardless of attendance or cancellation.
- 3.3. Payment Schedule: Payments are to be made weekly in advance, as outlined during the booking process via the Spawtz platform.
4. Block Renewal
- 4.1. Renewal Mechanism: Before the end of each 10-week block, the Customer will have the option to renew the booking for an additional 10-week block via the Spawtz online system.
- 4.2. Continued Agreement: If the Customer renews, these Terms and Conditions will continue to apply to each subsequent 10-week block without the need for a new agreement.
- 4.3. Non-Renewal: If the Customer does not renew prior to the end of the current block, their booking will automatically expire and the slot may be reallocated.
- 4.4. Amendments: The Company reserves the right to adjust pricing or booking conditions prior to the commencement of a new block. Continued use of the facilities following such notice will be deemed as acceptance of the revised terms.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- 5.1. No Cancellations: Once a 10-week block has been confirmed, cancellations are not permitted. The Customer is obligated to pay for all 10 sessions, even if some are missed.
- 5.2. No Refunds: No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, missed sessions, or early termination by the Customer.
6. Default and Enforcement
- 6.1. Late or Missed Payments: If the Customer fails to pay on time, the Company may suspend booking access and/or reallocate the slot.
- 6.2. Outstanding Balances: The Company reserves the right to recover any outstanding payments for the full 10-week block.
- 6.3. Recovery Costs: The Customer agrees to cover any legal or administrative costs incurred by the Company in recovering unpaid amounts.
7. Termination by the Company
The Company reserves the right to terminate a booking with immediate effect if the Customer breaches any of these Terms and Conditions. In such cases, any outstanding fees remain payable.
8. Liability
- 8.1. Risk: The Customer and all participants use the facilities at their own risk.
- 8.2. Indemnity: The Customer agrees to indemnify the Company against any claims, damages, or losses resulting from the use of the facilities.
9. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions represent the full agreement between the Customer and the Company regarding block bookings and supersede any previous verbal or written arrangements.
11. Severability
If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in full effect.
12. Photography and Filming
12.1. Promotional Filming: Gôl Centres reserves the right to use the Facility’s “Action Replay” cameras and to commission professional photographers/videographers to capture footage and images of activities at the centre. By participating in a booking or league, the Hirer and Participants acknowledge that they may be photographed or filmed.
12.2. Usage Rights: Gôl Centres may use these images and recordings for marketing, social media, website content, and promotional materials without further notice or compensation to Participants.
12.3. Opt-Out: We respect your privacy. Any Participant who does not wish to be photographed or filmed should notify the Duty Manager or the photographer at the start of their session. We will take reasonable steps to ensure they are not featured in any identifiable shots.
12.4. Under 18s: For Soccer Schools and youth bookings, Gôl Centres will seek separate parental/guardian consent before using identifiable images of minors for marketing purposes, in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy.
13. Data Protection and Privacy
13.1. Consent: By proceeding with a booking, the Customer consents to the collection and use of their data as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
13.2. Purpose: The Company will use the Customer’s personal data only for managing the booking and providing related services.
13.3. Compliance: All personal data is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
