Gôl runs the largest 5-a-side leagues in the UK, with men’s, works, youth and women’s leagues here in Cardiff.

There’s a place for established teams, returning players and groups starting from scratch. Tell us about your team and we’ll help you find a division that feels competitive without being a weekly hiding.

Careful fixture management, rearrangement support and help finding players mean far fewer cancelled games — so the match in your calendar is much more likely to go ahead.

Seasons run for 14–15 weeks, with fixtures arranged in advance so everyone can plan ahead. There’s no obligation to continue after the season finishes.

Pick a night

Adult 5-a-side leagues run Sunday to Thursday. Our youth league plays on Fridays from 11 September 2026. Each night has its own divisions and fixtures.

Tell us about your team

Send us your team name, captain’s details and provisional squad. If you’re new to Gôl, tell us about your playing experience and we’ll suggest a suitable division.

Pay your bond

Registration is free. We take a separate £37 Good Faith Bond when you join. It is refundable under the normal league terms.

Get playing

You’ll receive fixtures for the full season so you can plan ahead. If you need to rearrange a future match, give us more than two weeks’ notice.

You still get the organised fixtures, qualified referees and hands-on support designed to keep matches on the calendar. The result is far fewer cancelled games.

Football should be competitive. It shouldn't be intimidating.

Racism, homophobia, violence and persistent disrespect have no place at Gôl. We take a zero-tolerance approach and will act when a player or team crosses the line, including bans where necessary.

Everyone should be able to turn up, feel welcome and enjoy their football. No exceptions.

Goals worth another look.

Action Replay captures up to 10 games each night, so there's a decent chance your best finish — or worst miss — won't be forgotten.
