What makes us the number one provider of 5-a-side in South Wales?
The home of Cardiff 5 a side, Gôl is Wales’ first indigenous 5-a-side and 7-a-side company. We launched the country’s first purpose-built football facility in Cardiff in January 2006.
We were also the first company in Wales to make state of the art 3G rubber crumb pitches publicly available. In our quest to provide the surrounding areas of South Wales with top quality facilities to enjoy playing football, we opened our second centre which provides 3G 5-a-side and 7-a-side pitches in Newport in November 2009 which serves the city of Newport and the East of Cardiff.
We consolidated our place as the number one Cardiff 5-a-side centre with the installation of eight brand new state-of-the-art pitches along with the introduction of Action Replay cameras which allows us to record and broadcast 10 games a night whilst also allowing parents to capture the magical moments from their children’s parties.
The Action Replay technology has also had an impact on our much-revered Soccer Schools as our FAW-qualified coaches can now use it to review sessions and ultimately find new ways of making sure the youngsters coming through our ranks make the most of the high-quality training offered.

How to Play Regularly at Our Centres
There are a number of options available to play at our centres for players ranging from the age of 4 and above including:
- Joining our 5 or 7-a-side leagues
- Booking a 3G pitch (either one-off or as a block booking)
- One-day tournaments and competitions
- Children’s football parties
- Gôl Football Academy for kids on weekends and during school holidays
Our Services
Pitch Hire
With ten 5-a-side pitches and one 7-a-side 3G pitch, we have plenty of space to accommodate those looking to stretch their legs.
Leagues
We have over 220 teams in our league structure which runs from Sunday – Thursday. This typically means all of our divisions are well balanced and offer competitive games.
Soccer Schools
Our fully qualified coaches are trained to deliver programs that develop children’s footballing ability. We host soccer schools on Saturdays and during school holidays.
Kids Parties
Our fully enclosed pitches and exclusive party room, along with additional extras such as having a qualified coach coordinate football activities makes us the best choice for kids parties.
Gôl Activities
Bubble football, battle zone archery and more are on the menu for your next stag or hen do, birthday party or corporate team building day!
Function Room Hire
Our lounge area which contains 3 HDMI-compatible screens is spacious enough to hold meetings, training days and more.

Our son’s party with Gôl was fantastic! The team are efficient, helpful and friendly. The food provided was lovely and the coach who ran the party was great with the kids. Bonus points that we could have a Welsh-speaking coach too. I would highly recommend a party at Gôl for football-mad kids!

Our son did two weeks of their summer football camp and really enjoyed it. It runs from 8:30am – 3:30pm or 5:30pm. He came home very tired!
